It feels like an oven in my house right now. It's making me very uncomfortable and icky-feeling.

This weekend was a lot of fun, but hot... I am not used to actually being outside in the middle of the day, experiencing heat. I hate heat. It causes me great distress. Especially when Chris Kong's car has no air conditioning.

I saw a few musicals/plays this weekend, all at SRT (Summer Reperatory Theatre), and, for the most part, they were good. I had a few (ok, a lot of) issues with Beauty and the Beast and The Man Who Came to Dinner was OK - not great, but decent.

Chris and I went to see Agnes of God with Jason, and that play was extremely good. The performances were top notch, and the story was sad and heart-breaking. Very deep. Very in-your-face. I liked that.

Highlight of the weekend: The Full Monty. This musical is beyond fabulous! It is the only musical that is made completely for straight women. Gay guys? Straight guys? Back off. This show is for us (and we get so few to ourselves.)

The musical is an American take on the British movie of the same name -- it's the same story, just with a more American feel. I am crushing on the guy who played the lead (Jerry Lukowski); his name was Matt Steiner. When it got to the end of the show, and the men were all up at the front of the audience doing their striptease, I literally thought I was going to shit my pants; I was SO EXCITED! =D I got to see some penises - it was very fun. (And seeing it all surrounded by a bunch of middle-aged women and older conservative couples was interesting, to say the least.)

Not excited about going back to work tomorrow. It's going to be a full, 5-day week. I'm gonna try and take it easy, enjoy my night-times. It's still very frustrating, since I can't stay out late.

My computer is still being held prisoner at Best Buy. Let's kill them in their sleep.
